About Me
I still remember the day when my family and I got our first computer. It was an old beat-up IBM PS/2 running Windows 3.1 with almost no software on it. Despite the poor performance and lack of software, I still somehow managed to spend hours on it to the amazement of my parents. Even now it seems strange to me, because I was not wasting away the hours playing video games, but rather exploring a new alien frontier. Like Wozniak before me, I did anything. It did not matter to me, everything seemed to interest me. It was on this old 286 PC that I started my unrelenquishing passion to explore and learn about computers and software that still remains with me today.
However, it was not until I logged onto the Internet for the first time that I met people who had a similar passion for computers. It was in these places that I saw the first programs that were written by individuals and not large software companies that did amazing things. This is the moment that I regard as being the spark that lit the blaze in my heart for Software Engineering and computer programming. It was what motivated me in my early years to write programs to do mischievous things like "kick" people offline, et cetera.
Despite getting started in software development writing mischievous programs, I will always remember and keep close to my heart these memories for they are the events that have lead me down the road I am on today. ...and I will never forget them.
