TLR Map Editor UPDATE

Despite the large amount of time during this Thanksgiving holiday, I have not been making the progress toward the usability of the TLR Map Editor as I would like. There are still a slew of features that I must implement before I can even make this a practical tool. At this time, my only hope is that this tool was worth the effort. As of 8:00 pm, November 26, 2006, the current developer snapshot of the Map Editor is:



I still have to figure out how I will implement texture splatting, implement a camera system for the TLR engine and the Map Editor tool. Then I have to implement terrain painting, and placement of entity objects on the map. Once I'm at this moment I have to figure out how the AI will work (I'm leaning toward numeric identifiers that correlate to AI objects).



For some good news, I am planning on releasing TLR as shareware through Tribusoft Game Studios. I will keep everyone posted on how this progresses. Until next time...
